Enclosures - Fused Glass - Large Centrepiece Bowl - Greens, Gold, Yellows

This ‘Enclosures’ fused glass centrepiece bowl is one of my recent artworks from my new collection ‘From Above’
It is created from sheet glass and has glass lustres on the surface. Each intricate piece of glass is hand cut and smoothed on a grinding wheel before being constructed into the design.
It has a wonderful handmade quality and reacts to light in different ways, depending on the time of day. It can reflect light creating a shimmer on the surface and it also lets through beautiful transmitted light.
