From Above

'From Above' is my latest collection. This is the beginning of this new body of work, I will be adding to it over the coming months with new artworks.

This collection is inspired by satellite imagery of landscapes and cities, a very abstract way of looking at the world from a different perspective.

I am using 'Bullseye' glass with lustres for these artworks, which gives the glass a wonderful quality and it shimmers at certain times of the day. Each intricate piece of glass is hand cut and the edges are finished on a grinder before constructing the abstract design.

This is so different from my previous collections, I am really looking forward to seeing how it develops.
