Passing Shapes - New Collection

‘Passing Shapes’ are inspired by how the shape inclusions and lines interact with each other, resulting in dramatic effects and movement.

I have chosen to use different colour combinations to emphasise the overall design of each artwork.

For these artworks I am using a totally different way of constructing the pieces before they are fired in the kiln. I am hand cutting strips of glass and creating my design inside the kiln.

Each bespoke artwork has had multiple firings, with some cold work glass processes where needed? I am looking forward to seeing how this new way of creating, develops in the studio practice in the future.
