Jewels - Fused Glass - Square Shallow Bowl - Multi Colours

My colourful collection 'Jewels' was designed and created, as part of my headline exhibition at 'The Gallery at the Guild' in Chipping Campden, Cotswolds. The transmitted coloured light coming through the artworks is spectacular, so beautiful.

These handmade artworks are made from lots of intricate pieces of glass, all cut by hand. Each jewel is created from three to four pieces of glass and is assembled in the kiln. It takes multiple firings to create these pieces, but the time and effort is with it. They have a wonderful textured on the surface, as I have intentionally kept the form of each individual jewel.
